Goodwin Executive Search, a leading firm in retained executive search, is pleased to announce the placement of Robbie Allen as CEO at Infinia ML. Allen will be based out of Infinia ML’s Durham, NC office. Bill Goodwin, Managing Partner led the assignment.
Prior to joining Infinia ML, Allen founded and led Automated Insights, one of the first and most successful natural language generation companies. Automated Insights was named one of the “Best Places to Work” in the Triangle for four years in a row and was acquired by Vista Equity Partners in 2015. A former Distinguished Engineer at Cisco, he has authored or coauthored eight books and holds six patents. Allen has a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from East Carolina University, two Master’s degrees from MIT, and has been pursuing his Ph.D. in computer science with a focus on artificial intelligence at the University of North Carolina.
